We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. ikonMaker processes images only on your Mac. Your artwork is never uploaded to our servers.

Who this applies to

This policy covers the ikonMaker macOS application published by Intrepid Marine LLC (retail Mac App Store and documentation sites for this product).

What stays on your Mac

Source images you open via drag-and-drop or the system file picker
Exported icon files written to folders you choose
Local app preferences (if any), stored only on your device

You share exports only when you copy, AirDrop, or send files from Finder or another app you control.

What we do not do

Require an account or sign-in
Collect analytics, crash telemetry, or advertising identifiers
Track you across apps or websites
Upload your images or exports to our servers
Sell or rent personal information
Use third-party analytics or ad SDKs

Permissions & sandbox

ikonMaker runs in the App Sandbox. File access happens through standard macOS Open and Save panels that you control.

Network

ikonMaker does not use network access for its core features. The app does not transmit your images or personal data off your Mac.

Optional links in documentation (this website, support forum) are ordinary web pages you open in a browser — not in-app tracking.

System tools

When you export macOS icons, ikonMaker may invoke Apple’s system iconutil tool on your Mac to build a .icns file. That processing remains local.

Privacy manifest

ikonMaker includes an Apple privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declaring no tracking and no data collection types. Any declared API uses (for example file timestamps used when naming export folders) are for on-device functionality only.

Children

ikonMaker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

App Store privacy label

In App Store Connect we state that we do not collect data from this app and that we do not track users. That label matches this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of ikonMaker after an update means you accept the revised policy.
