This is not MarineServiceTech (yard tickets) or ServiceValet (shop tickets). Those products have their own docs and office hubs.
What the app is
- On-device boating assistant: radar, inventory, captain’s log, maintenance, surveys, insurance trail.
- No account. Data stays on the device unless you export a backup or turn on iCloud Sync.
- All modules are free. Premium unlocks backup and file export only (PDF, CSV, inventory grids,
.intrepidbackup). - Not a chartplotter. Not primary navigation.
- NWS NEXRAD and NOAA/USN chart layers cover the United States and greater North America public feeds — not worldwide.
Common questions
Backup, new phone, Android
Use Utilities → Backup & Restore. Full iPhone-to-iPhone files are
.intrepidbackup. See the
backup and restore guide.
Export before you erase a phone. iCloud Sync is JSON-only (no photos or PDFs).
Premium / restore purchases
Subscribe or restore in the app paywall. Apple bills Premium. To cancel, use Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on the iPhone. Restoring purchases uses the same Apple ID that bought Premium.
Radar or charts empty
Needs a network for tiles. Coverage is U.S. / North America public feeds. Settings & radar explains Weather vs USN mode and the default map center.
App Clip
The Intrepid Mariner App Clip is a short weather/map slice. The full inventory, log, surveys, and backup live in the App Store app.

A work-order package from Intrepid Mariner is for MarineServiceTech, not this support page.
