Labor hours by employee

Who was on the boat, how long, and which task — per ticket or for the whole yard.

Sign in at intrepidmarine.net/marineservicetech/login. Hours live on the ticket Time tab and on Reports. This is clock time (check-in and tasks). It is not an invoice.

Where the hours come from

  1. Desk — open the ticket → Time. Clock in / Clock out for the visit. Start task / Stop for the work (Travel, On site, Haul / splash, Mechanical, Wait / parts, and the other task types on that form). Choose the Worker so the name and phone stick to the clock.
  2. Phone — the tech marks I’m here, work / delay, and leaving on MarineServiceTech. When that work order comes back to the office, those stamps become clocks: I’m here → leaving is check-in; work progress is On site; parts / delay / blocked is Wait / parts.

Two people on the same work-order number clock separately. Each registered phone still gets its own pickup. How to assign them: schedule board.

Hours on one ticket

  1. Open the work order.
  2. Choose the Time tab.
  3. Read the table: when, what (check-in or task), who (name and phone), hours, and whether it came from the office or the phone.

Total hours for that ticket sit above the table. A clock still running shows “open” and keeps counting until Clock out / Stop, or until the phone return closes I’m here with leaving.

Report for the whole yard, by employee

  1. Open Reports in the top menu.
  2. The card Time by employee lists each person A–Z with phone, worker id, how many clocks, and hours.
  3. Click Download ticket time CSV for a spreadsheet of every clock on every ticket.

The file name looks like ticket-time-your-yard.csv. Started and ended times use the firm’s time zone (Office → Branding).

One ticket in the spreadsheet

The on-screen employee table is the whole firm. To see one job:

  1. Open the CSV in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.
  2. Turn on a filter on the header row.
  3. Set WorkOrder to that ticket number.
  4. Sort or subtotal by Worker (and Phone if two people share a name).

Optional PivotTable: rows = Worker, values = Sum of Hours, columns = Task if you want travel vs on-site vs wait on that ticket.

Invoices are a different download. Download invoices CSV (and QuickBooks Desktop / Online) is billed labor, parts, and expenses. Clock hours do not become an invoice unless someone uses Post to costs on a closed Time row, or the tech typed a labor line on the phone.
Check-in from I’m here → leaving does not auto-post to Costs. That would double-count a labor line the tech already typed.
